Welcome to Honest Als Page
At present this site is mainly a series of photo collections of Alan
and Pauline's adventures since leaving New Zealand for the UK in
July 2003.
After a month of travelling to get to the UK, followed by three months
of combined holiday and job hunting, we wound up in St Albans, just
North of London, in January 2004. We've been based there ever since.

Important note
From Winter 2006, I am now putting much higher definition images on the
site.
The images you see whilst browsing will be the same as ever (for the
benefit of those without broadband), but if you click on a large image to
view it full-size in its own screen, you will now get a 1600x1200 high
quality JPEG. These are typically around 1.5 mB in size, so you might
find 'em a bit slow.
(If anyone wants even higher definition photos, most of mine are now stored
at 2560x1920, - 5 megapixels - so email me if you'd like one).
